Dhivehi Language Services ("DLS”) provides language related services ("Services") to users and ensuring the confidentiality and protection of data of users (“Personal Data”) is very important to us. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy outlines how DLS collect, use, protect or otherwise handle Personal Data of users.

In order to provide the Services efficiently and productively, DLS collects various types of Personal Data through the Website. Information is collected in the following ways:
1. Information provided by users:
DLS obtains and collects various types of information from users voluntarily for performing the Services, issuing free quotes, creating accounts and providing payment information. Personal Data collected in this regard includes, but is not limited to name, address, contact number, email address, bank account details, and credit card information of users. Further, information and documents related to performing the Services will be collected by DLS.
2. Information collected automatically:
DLS collects non-personal data automatically using cookies and other similar technologies. These non-personal data enable DLS to effectively provide Services to users. Such data includes but is not limited to location information, web browser information, mobile phone information and social media related information.
Use of Collected information
DLS will only use collected Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy to provide and perform the Services, process transactions, conduct communications, update data lists, analyse data, provide support services, improve user experience, or perform other tasks related to providing the Services. Further, DLS can produce hard copies of Personal Data provided by users as required or transfer Personal Data within various servers of DLS or third party contactors as required.
DLS will not release any Personal Data in a manner contravening with this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, unless it is required to do so under the applicable laws of Republic of Maldives.

DLS has mechanisms for preventing unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of stored Personal Data. At all times DLS will strive reasonably to protect and ensure the security of confidential Personal Data. However, DLS shall not bear any responsibility towards breach of Personal Data due to actions beyond reasonable control of DLS.
DLS will not store your credit card information on our servers. All transactions are completed by a safe and secure credit card processing vendor, with the highest level of online security available to businesses.
DLS does not bear any confidentiality obligation towards the use of third party website links provided in this Website.
Non-Disclosure Agreement/Confidentiality
As part of the nature of Services, the translation of personal and/or legal documents will result in DLS handling sensitive documents and material. DLS and its contracted personnel abide by strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. At no time will your documents or contents of your documents be shared with any party besides DLS and the translator assigned to the translation of your document. Additionally, no other client information is provided to the translator besides what is already included in the document to be translated.
Subscriptions
DLS users who have voluntarily entered their contact information in the system in order to create an account, subscribe or receive a quote will receive email notifications from time to time. This may include newsletters, coupons, marketing, or other promotional materials.
Users can unsubscribe from receiving future emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
Amendment of the Privacy Policy
DLS reserves the right to amend, revise, update, modify, add or remove any provisions of this Privacy Policy at any time without further notice, in a manner which is not contradictory with the essence of protecting and maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, DLS will publish on this page, most recent changes to this Privacy Policy.
